BLM9 is in Overveen (Bloemendaal) in the Netherlands. Close to Bloomingdale where the last editions of ISF were

Bloemendaal - A large fire has BLM9 beach on the beach of Bloemendaal on the night of Friday to Saturday completely destroyed. Around half past three the police received a burglar alarm at the beach.
The police were take latitude and upon arrival, there appeared to be fire. The fire came right spot to fight the fire. It soon appeared that the beach was much more to save, the flames leaped high into the air. The firefighters then focused on saving the adjoining beach Woodstock, which also succeeded. Residents of the beach houses have been informed.

The owner of BLM9 the beach since 2005. In BLM9 there was a big party planned this weekend with DJ Ferry Corsten. The fire might have started in a storage area of the beach club, the cause is still unknown.

** In about two weeks Intuition Recordings planned there the Intuition Summer Festival 2010, i hope the party will moved to another location? **

I was supposed to go to "At the beach with...Ferry Corsten" today at BLM9

Thank you! This is specially important for us who come from far away, so that we don't waste airplane tickets, hotel reservations, etc... :wink:

Beachclub BLM9 rises from the flames to host the Intuition Summer Festival and will reopen its doors on 21 August! The clean-up is in full progress and we provide our full support to the club’s efforts. As a result, ISF can take place at BLM9 as planned!
